The Calyx – available in two versions, the 1440 and the 1230 – is a new Minimalist version of the well established Imersa and Nirvana Soaking Tubs. The larger Calyx has external dimensions of 1440 mm/ 56¾" x 850 mm/33½", and the smaller 1230 mm/48½" x 815 mm/32¼". Both have an internal depth of 630 mm/24¾".

The objective of this design – apart from presenting a minimalist style version of our Soaking Tubs – was to optimise actual bathing/showering space. This was achieved with a near 30% increase in water surface.

Just as a large number of Nirvanas and Imersas have been bought as much for space-saving as for ‘Soaking’ and have been installed with overhead showers, so too may either Calyx.

As with all our Soaking Tub range they use considerably less water than do standard shape baths and, because of the reduced depth, even less than the Imersa or the Nirvana.The overflow can be sited in any one of the three walls of the well.
