Water temperature control – ThermaSsure
We can fit any bath in the Cabuchon Bathforms range with the ThermaSsure water temperature control system. This advanced and resource-efficient technology promotes greater bather comfort whilst also yielding significant savings in terms of both energy and water consumption.
The Thermassure system re-circulates and reheats bath water in order to maintain it at a specific temperature, which can be set between 34 and 43 degrees Celsius (93 and 109 degrees Fahrenheit). It can be reset by the bather at any time with no more than the touch of a button. For those preferring a long relaxing soak, it affords lasting pleasure whilst also proving far more cost effective than repeatedly re-filling the bath or ‘topping up’ to maintain the desired temperature.
This is the case because existing warm water is reheated to maintain its temperature, which it is considerably more energy efficient than running in new water that has been heated from cold by a conventional gas boiler or by an electrically powered immersion heater. This saving of water and energy means that its investment cost is typically recovered in two to three years.
The ThermaSsure system has a visible and audible warning signal that activates if the water temperature reaches 46 Celsius (116 Fahrenheit), so the user is never exposed to the risk of excessively hot water. The system also features an illuminated digital display and it may be supplied with an optional UV water purification sub-system, ThermaPure, which we can also fit.
Operating and installation instructions and electrical specifications are provided with each unit.
The system consists of a suction intake and two small outlets. The thermostatically controlled heater is a compact unit measuring 530mm x 85mm x 190mm / approx 21” x 3.5” x 7.5” and is installed under the bathtub. The unit is virtually silent. Both units comply with European safety standards for electrical appliances.
