• The Arcadia oval bath is a classically simple but elegantly styled double-ended bath tub that can be inset or undermounted. With a design that approaches the Minimalist, it is strikingly attractive. As a spacious oval bath, available in two sizes, it will permit comfortable shared bathing. Its waste/ overflow is situated on one of the inner sides of the bowl, which means that the bather(s) can sit at either end without discomfort.
  • The Artesia is an oval, free standing bath. Classically styled, it is a double-ended tub that is ideal for comfortable shared bathing. It is available in two different configurations. One has plain rims and the other has a tap/faucet deck on the rear rim. Both versions of the Artesia are available with or without a plinth. The plinth adds height and extra visual impact, and may be chosen in a colour which contrasts with the bath itself.
  • The Calyx deep soaking bath is the minimalist version of two of the company’s most popular Japanese-style tubs – the Nirvana and Imersa. There are two sizes available, which differ in both length and width. Introduced in response to numerous customer demands for a Minimalist soaking tub, the two Calyx luxury baths were launched in 2010. Important developments include their simple lines, which respond to an increasing consumer trend towards minimalist styling, and the optimisation of internal space. The new design preserves the classical deep soaking characteristics of the traditional Japanese ofuro tub but yields an increase in internal bowl size of nearly 30% when compared to the Imersa.

  • Once you have selected the Hydrotherapy system that's best for you, the next question is what additional features you need to complete your perfect spa bath experience. For a touch of added luxury or to enhance the comfort and therapeutic effect of your bath, it's well worth considering some further options, which we place before you here.
  • The Futari two-person deep soaking tub is Cabuchon's newest bath for shared bathing. Launched in 2023, it is the latest in our deep soaking tub range, and our second two-seat version. The name celebrates a strong Japanese connection. The traditional Japanese ofuro has always been an inspiration for this market-leading range, and in this case, the word means 'couple' – appropriate for a two-seater bath. The design of the Futari respects all the most important principles of deep soaking. It has a compact design, the side walls are steeply angled, and the integrated seats ensure that the bather retains an upright, semi-seated posture. These are the three key characteristics of the perfect deep soaking experience.
  • Hydrotherapy spa tubs have a long tradition. Historical records support the medical profession's belief in the therapeutic value of water to relax, support, restore and mend. The Romans understood the effect of water, steam and massage in their public bath houses, and various other forms of Hydrotherapy arose independently in cultures ranging from the Far East to the Americas. Later, a number of European towns established themselves as spa resorts but it was only in 19th century Germany that public spas were first opened in significant numbers. In the 1960s, a visionary Californian engineer made a significant advance in the field of Hydrotherapy spa tubs when he invented a method of mixing water jets with air. The combination gave the resulting jets both force and direction, thereby replicating many of the effects of traditional manual massage. What differentiated this system from other, earlier approaches was that it gave users the ability to direct the jets, at any given temperature, upon the soft tissues and muscles that most benefit from massage. All the while, the bather could remain relaxed and comfortably reclined. Thus began the spa tub, now produced worldwide in its millions: for relaxation, for recuperation, for improved mobility and, of course, for simple bathing pleasure.
  • The history-making Imersa deep soaking bath was Cabuchon’s original ofuro-style tub – a bath that allows luxurious, deeply submerged bathing. In it, the bather is well supported by the Imersa’s carefully contoured seat, back and sides whilst being buoyed up by the mass of water itself. The result is a profoundly comfortable experience that is unlike anything to be encountered in a traditionally shaped bath.
  • The Nirvana deep soaking bath tub is our best-selling bath worldwide. Hand-crafted in Britain, it was developed as a result of detailed consultations with previous Imersa customers and with prospective seekers of the perfect deep soaking bath. Key to its popularity is the comfort  afforded by its sculptured interior – the result of  two  years of research and design development – its quality craftsmanship and its exceptional versatility. It can be set into a corner or niche, installed free-standing with bespoke panels, or set into a wooden, stone or tiled surround. Its simple and compact dimensions make it compatible with all kinds of decorative surrounds so it can be made to suit décors of all kinds, from traditional to contemporary. It is also particularly well suited for the inclusion of a hydrotherapy system.
  • The Oberon built-in bath is a striking circular bath tub that makes a stylish statement. It can be installed either as an inset/drop-in bath or undermounted beneath a deck. With a diameter of 1423mm / 56” it provides ample space to lie back and relax, and it appears particularly impressive when set into a tiered, stepped deck, as shown in the first of the accompanying photographs. (This shows the Oberon in the 'Big Brother' TV studio setting. Here, it is inset in a wooden deck.)
