Bricklayer: Building from stone

Stonemason is one of the workshops, thanks to which you will discover the possibility of building stone buildings. This building material is much stronger than wood and weather-resistant. On this page, you will learn how to open a bricklayer's workshop to be able to build with stone.
Stonecutter - how to unlock and craft
To create a stonemason, you need to collect 10 wood, 2 iron and 4 stones. The biggest challenge is to get the iron - you need to defeat the second boss, the Old Man, and then enter the Crypts in the Swamp where the ore is located. Finally, you have to melt it in the Foundry to get the iron ingots.
Having dealt with this, take a hammer in your character's hand, open the construction menu with the right button, go to the "Product" tab and then click "Bricklayer".
Now place it wherever you want. If you only need a stone construction site, you don't need to make a roof over the workshop. However, if you want to repair items with it, the same rules apply as for a workbench - the bricklayer must be covered, otherwise it will remain inaccessible.
The use of a bricklayer, stone buildings
Unlike the aforementioned workbench, the Stone cutter is not used to make objects. After interacting with the workshop, you will find only one item, a grindstone, which you will use to create one of the forge's upgrades.
However, this workshop will allow you to build stone structures. Open the build menu and go to the Structures tab. There you will find stone walls, a floor and a staircase.
However, remember that although stone structures are much stronger than wooden ones, they behave differently during construction. For example, it is impossible to connect several walls in the air to form a continuous line - if the stone does not have support from below, it instantly crumbles.
