All of our luxury free standing baths feature designs that are ‘organic’, natural and functional, as well as strikingly attractive. Painstakingly sculpted and handmade in our own factory using our own unique tooling, they span a wide spectrum of styles, from classical to modern, and they can of course be customised to your individual taste.

Our free standing bath tubs are designed to act as a distinctive visual centrepiece of a bathroom – a role that they perform exceptionally well and for which they have won prestigious international awards. However, in their design, we have always held that ergonomics is every bit as important as style, so when you choose a Cabuchon free standing bath, you can have complete confidence that it will feel as luxurious as it looks.

  • The Artesia is an oval, free standing bath. Classically styled, it is a double-ended tub that is ideal for comfortable shared bathing. It is available in two different configurations. One has plain rims and the other has a tap/faucet deck on the rear rim. Both versions of the Artesia are available with or without a plinth. The plinth adds height and extra visual impact, and may be chosen in a colour which contrasts with the bath itself.
  • The rectangular, double-ended Elysia is the most distinctive of all Cabuchon’s free standing baths. It boasts an elegant bowed front, angled sides and a shallow seat at each end for the last word in bathing comfort. It is available in two versions. One has plain rims and the other has a tap/faucet deck on the rear rim.
  • The Osbourne free standing bath is a modern, double-ended rendering of the classic Victorian design but with a romantic, European influence. In keeping with its historic origins, it is fitted with its own dedicated plinth. The plinth is a separate piece and can be supplied in a second colour for a small additional charge. The Osbourne is normally installed against a wall, so the back is flat. It can also be supplied with or without a tiling flange. Please note that the colour striping shown in the accompanying photograph is a special effect offered in any two-colour combination.
  • The Pleasance free standing bath, with its flat, tightly radiused rims, cannot be made in materials other than Cabuchon’s own FICORE® composite. These rims contrast beautifully with its classical curves, making it a highly functional bathtub with a very distinctive style. More than worthy of a central position in any luxury bathroom, the Pleasance takes its design cues from the traditional Georgian ‘slipper bath’ and is ideal for languorous soaking. Please note that the fourth of the accompanying photographs shows the size of the Pleasance (at rear) in comparison to the Pleasance Plus (foreground.)
  • Developed in response to customer demand for a larger version of the Pleasance, the Pleasance Plus free standing bath has the same virtues and features but in a longer length. To preserve the visual balance in the larger size some small changes have been made. The curving back of the Pleasance Plus is 870mm/34¼" high and so keeps the bather well supported, as does the bath’s impressive depth: at its centre, it has a depth of 605mm /23¾", so the user is kept comfortably buoyed up by the water.
  • The Regency traditional bath, based on the classic Robert Adam style, is ideally suited to truly classical interiors. With its elegantly bowed end and precise panel detail, it offers a quality of design and finish that is simply unparalleled. The effect is particularly striking in peninsular form –  i.e. projecting straight out from a wall, as shown above.
  • The Talisien is our latest free standing, double-ended bathtub and, we believe, strongly representative of our characteristics as a manufacturer. It is unique, elegant and strikingly different, yet very functional. Ideal for relaxed single or shared bathing, it features a carefully sculptured back, which slopes at each end and gives a greater than usual depth that permits luxurious soaking.

Double-ended Free Standing Baths:

Please note that a number of our luxury free standing baths are double-ended and have side-mounted fillers and controls. This affords greater choice in how the user wishes to bathe and also facilitates comfortable shared bathing.

The double-ended baths in this category include the Artesia, the Elysia and the Talisien. All of these baths are literally ‘free standing’ and the inner bowl and outer body are one integral piece.

Free Standing Baths: Colour Choice

Prices:

We much regret that that we are unable to show standard prices for our luxury free standing baths. There are two reasons for this: the large number of custom options available for each bathtub, and the fact that we ship worldwide, with freight/carriage charges varying by location. However, we will be delighted to provide a clear and accurate price in response to a telephone call, a contact form or an e-mail. We simply need to know your location and which bathtubs interest you.
