The Project:
Ms J K first contacted us in late 2024 to enquire about our deep soaking tubs, including the Takara. From the outset, she was clear about her determination to make a Japanese-style soaking bath work within her home, telling us “I have a grim determination to have one of these and we’re even going to chisel the walls and remove a wardrobe to make it happen!!”
A showroom visit was arranged at our factory, where Ms J K was able to view and experience the baths in person. Following the visit, she commented, “I have to say we were very impressed with your set up, designs and proactive approach to clients’ wishes.”
The project progressed with the specification of a Takara deep soaking tub, complete with a combined filler/overflow and additional brassware supplied as a complete package with the bath. Working closely alongside the client throughout the process, we supported the technical and design requirements needed to bring her vision to life.
The installation was completed later the following year, and Ms J K kindly shared the following testimonial upon completion of her project:

It all began with an invitation to visit the showroom, where I was encouraged to try out the Takara bath. Yes, you read that right — shoes off, footstool provided, and in I went! It was like test-driving a Rolls Royce, but with bubbles in mind. Every bath is custom-made, so I got to choose my extras to make it truly mine. (Think of it as bath couture.)
The team didn’t just stop at letting me lounge in luxury — they gave us a full tour of the workshops. I met the talented craftspeople behind the scenes, saw the magic happen, and left genuinely impressed by how beautifully organised and friendly everyone was.
It’s not every day you sign on the dotted line with a grin and then celebrate with fish and chips by the sea.
A few weeks later, my bath arrived — securely packaged and ready to become the centrepiece of my home.
My husband was tasked with bringing my spa vision to life (and navigating my ever-evolving design whims). He deserves a medal, but the real prize is the finished result: my very own spa retreat.
Now, at the end of a long day, I sink into comfort and calm. The bath isn’t just a bath — it’s the bath. The room has been lovingly renamed “The Retreat,” and it’s where I go to unwind, recharge, and occasionally hide from the laundry.
