The Project:

Ms J M had been considering a number of small baths for a forthcoming bathroom renovation project but had postponed any decision until she could gather more information. She had seen the Cabuchon website and its range of deep soaking tubs but because she lived in County Kildare in Ireland, she had not had the opportunity to visit and test the baths out.

However, when she decided to take a holiday in the Lake District in Cumbria, North West England, she realised that she could make a short detour; she could visit the Bath House showroom, which lies only 12 miles (19km) from Cumbria’s southern border, and there she could inspect the baths for herself.

She contacted the customer service team who arranged an appointment with her and prepared for her visit by setting out all the baths that were of interest to her. When she arrived, she was able to inspect a number of soaking tubs and, having sat in them to get a proper sense of their comfort, design and dimensions, she chose the Calyx 1230 model.

In addition to the soaking tub itself, she also wanted a spa hydrotherapy system, which can be fitted to any Cabuchon soaking tub. The team discussed Ms J M’s particular requirements and worked with the design team to produce a system that would be ideally suited to her preferences and physique.

Ms J M then continued with her Lakeland holiday while the Cabuchon manufacturing team went to work. The bath was duly manufactured, complete with its bespoke hydrotherapy system, and delivered on schedule to Ms J M’s home in County Kildare.
