Project Description
Deep Soaking Tub, Cambridgeshire
Product: Calyx 1440 Deep Soaking Tub
Client: Ms Z M
The Project:
When remodelling a bathroom in her home in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Ms ZM set out to make the most of the space available. A conventionally shaped bath would have left very little space, making the room feel cramped, but Ms ZM recognised that the compact dimensions of a deep soaking tub would afford much more design freedom.
She viewed various options online before eventually deciding on Cabuchon’s Calyx 1440 – the larger of the two Calyx models. She was attracted by its small footprint, which would enable it to be installed between two walls, and by its Minimalist lines.
She contacted the Cabuchon customer services team to discuss colour choices. Initially, she had been considering whether to opt for a matt finish, which the team confirmed was certainly possible. In the end, however, she chose a Saneux gloss white that would match the finish of the other sanitaryware in the room.
The bath was then manufactured as requested and delivered to her home ready for installation. Once the work was complete, she emailed the team to say:
“The bathroom is finished (… and) I just wanted to say the bath is absolutely amazing.
“We were looking to change our bathroom to create the best use of the space and a relaxing bathing experience. We chose the Calyx soaking bath, particularly for its Minimalist line.
“The team at Cabuchon were incredibly helpful when we ordered the bath. They kept us informed throughout the production process and delivered the bath on time. We are delighted with the end result, which has transformed the room. Thank you for all your help with the project.”
