The Project:
When planning to update her bathroom in her home in County Down, Mrs SN needed to source a bath that would be comfortable, stylish and compact enough to fit into the long but narrow space. Moreover, it was important that whatever bath she chose, it must be compatible with an overhead shower in order to make the most of the space available.
Finally, since Mrs N had already purchased other new items of sanitaryware, the new bath should ideally be supplied in a precisely matching colour.
With these requirements in mind, she researched the market and made contact with Cabuchon. She had seen the Calyx deep soaking tub on the company’s website and felt that it would be well suited. The next stage was to consider the room’s dimensions in detail and to ensure that the chosen bath would fit through the doorway. It was determined that the Calyx 1230 would be an excellent fit when placed against the end wall and, on the strength of this, Mrs N placed her order. The bath, was duly manufactured and shipped to Northern Ireland in a colour that exactly matched the porcelain of the other fittings.
